Introduction
Hello, my name is Zihan Bai. It’s nice to see you here. Recently, I am living in Siebert Hall. My hometown is in Jinan, China. I love my father, mother, and my lovely blue cat, LanLan. In my life, the most important thing is my family, music, and psychology. My father is a Chinese calligrapher indulging in Chinese traditional culture while my mother loves Chinese ancient poetry very much. Such cultural environment encourages me to deeply touch the art while treating problems with both perceptual and rational thinking. I love my family, and they have always been with me in my heart. I love music, so I have fallen in love with the piano. I love psychology, and it is my major in university.
Once I was a student in High school attached to ShanDong Normal University in China. It was actually a high school cultivating the student temperament of the college student. I lived in a courtyard nearby many beautiful sceneries such as Daming Lake, Baotu Spring and a lot of spring water scenic spots. The most common but interesting activity for me was to sit by the lake waiting for the sunrise and the sunset when I wanted to quietly ponder alone and to feel the beauty of nature. When the sun moved slowly and the ducks swam leisurely on the lake, everything was charming.
OSU is a satisfactory choice for me since it is a quite large university with tens of thousands of students, countless majors, and a huge campus, disseminating the power of mutual correlation and cohesion. These features give me a sense of identity, and familiarity in hometown, motivating me to quickly integrate and adapt to life here. I would like to learn the open thinking and rigorous scientific attitude in psychology, which requires me to deeply think when accepting the new knowledge, never cram, and follow the good learning goals and working patterns that are helpful for my future psychology career.
