Factors Influencing Child development

Poverty

Children born into poverty are faced with many problems like not getting the proper nutrition ,not being ready for school and improper brain development. These all can result in the child being behind in school and getting taken from their parents and put into homes where they are able to learn.

Grandparents raising

grandchildren

Children being raised by their grandparents has is challenging for  the grandparent  because they are the most vulnerable, they are sometimes unable to fully care for their grandchild due to illness, disability  or little to no money putting them in a tight space and having to choose between buying what the child needs instead of buying what they need like medication which results in poor health.Grandparents and grandchild also face problems with the child’s learning and being able to help with homework due to them not really knowing what to do and leaving them both frustrated.

Family

The role of family in the development of children development is crucial. As a family  you are the child’s first teachers meaning that they learn from you first before they are even able to learn from others most of a child’s learning happens at home with their family. By creating an environment where your child can learn the appropriate skills and values as well as learn how to socialize creates a positive learning environment where the child can grow from. While some children have a nice environment to come from others may not be so lucky so what they see is how they will reflect and act causing them to be troubled and not so easy to teach
