Parents will know a child has reached this milestone by seeing how well they have gotten at these activities whether it’s for sports or for play and can observe this while the child is performing those activities.

Parents can help by always letting them know what is going on around them for instance if they are at a car wash they can describe what the soap and water is doing to the car and then what the machines are doing to the car which is help cleaning it . This will help the child  understand and be ready to analyze the things around them so they  will be already to  predict and be familiar to what is going to happen. Parents will know a child has reached this milestone by listening to their child when they are telling stories and how descriptive they get and how they solve certain problems.

Social/Emotional Development

Social/Emotional Development is changes in emotional communication, self-understanding, knowledge about other people, interpersonal skills, friendships, intimate relationships, and moral reasoning and behavior.

Parents can help by being positive  model for children to follow behind  and show how to act and   resolve problems in a better way to avoid conflict . This will help  the child understand and see how they  are supposed to react to certain problems in their life. Parents will know a child has reached this milestone  by how their child interacts with other children and adults and how they solve problems.
