Blackjack

Blackjack is a card game that uses gambling. The objective of the game is to reach the number 21 without going over. An ace is worth 1 or 11 depending on the players choice. The cards 2 through 10 are worth their value, and all face cards are worth 10. You start with two cards, and you can choose to hit (take another card) or stand (bet with the cards you have). You are playing against a dealer. If you hit and your score goes over 21, you lose the round. If you stand and the dealer ends with a higher score than you, you also lose the round. However, you win the round if your score beats that of the dealer. If you and the dealer have the same score after a round, then you push, meaning you neither win nor lose your bet. Each round, you can bet a certain amount of money. You start with $50, and you can choose what amount of money you’d like to bet. Once you run out of money, the game is over.

Over Under

Over under is game that is designed for one player to try and guess if the next roll will be over, under, or exactly seven. The user is asked to input the money that will be eligible to bet in the game. The game will then ask how much of that total amount the user would like to gamble in that round. Once the money has been placed, the user has to enter if they think the roll will be over, under, or seven. If the user is correct, the user is paid 1:1, if the user is wrong, then the user loses the money that was placed that round. As long as the user has money, they will be able to play another round and try to increase their winnings. The user is also able to leave the game at any point after every round. Once the user either has no money or chooses to leave, they will be told their total money that they have and how much they either lost or gained. There is no end to this game unless the user losses all of their playable money, so the user may play as long as they would like.

Hangman

Hangman is a game similar to Wheel of Fortune, where the player has to solve for an unknown word(s). The player starts with a word that is blanked out, and in order to figure out what the word is, he/she needs to guess letters and try to fill in the word. If the player correctly guesses letter, the letter appears where it should in the unknown word. However, if the player incorrectly guesses a letter, a body part of the hangman appears. The player can only guess incorrectly six times; after that, the hangman will fully appear, and the player loses. The correct word is displayed on screen so that the player knows what they were solving for. However, if the player manages to guess all correct letters without running out of incorrect guesses, he/she wins. Whether the player wins or loses, he/she can choose to play again. All words in this game are Ohio related, so the players that attend The Ohio State University are able to learn more about the culture of their surroundings when playing this game.
