For this Capstone project, the team is working to answer the question: How can the accessibility of assistive devices be improved to give people with mobility issues more independence?
We have decided to divide our research between primary and secondary stakeholders. Our primary stakeholders include
- Elderly

People recovering from injury or surgery

Our secondary stakeholders are:
- Family members
- Doctors, nurses, caregivers
- Physical Therapist
- Manufacturers of mobility devices
- Pharmacies, insurance companies, other providers of assisted devices

With this in mind, the team reached out to several different resources to conduct different forms of research.
Visit with Sunrise Dublin:
Sunrise Senior Living in Dublin is a senior care center that provides for elderly persons within a range of independence. Some residents are able to live alone in apartments with opportunities to leave the community, while others require constant assistance or even hospice care.
