Waking up after an exhausting game day, Ally and I went on a walk to get fresh air. We decided to walk around north campus, where we live, and then explore some interesting places near the dorms. After leaving Bowen and taking a rule of thirds picture in front, we made our way to some other dorms and came across a bike rack and stairs. I thought the bike rack would be a great angle for open composition because the bars lead right to the subject, Ally. The stairs were perfect for symmetrical composition and happen to also lead to the subject. On our way back to Bowen, we sat down and took a break to chat on the red chairs between Raney and Bowen where I took a closed composition picture of her face, framed by the red chair.
