Slow Shutter & Artistic Filters

For this weeks assignment, I used my roommate’s Nikon camera to take a glow picture with a slow shutter speed. We turned the lights off in our dorm room and I set the camera on the desk for a still surface and she drew a heart with her iPhone camera. For the next three pictures I used various artistic filters on photoshop. I distorted the second picture and put a “film grain” filter on it, which made the bike rack glow – a cool effect that I liked. The next two pictures I used the same “accented edges” filter because I liked the way it made the edges glow and become neon.
