For the first image, I took an aerial picture from the 11th floor of Thompson Library. In photoshop, I cropped the picture to get rid of the excess building and then selected the sky to make it look like a sunset by changing the color balance. In the next image, I took a standard picture in front of Thompson. I changed the exposure and brightness of everything below the sky to make it brighter and slightly changed the color balance in the sky. Then to add a little flare, I made the brick pathway yellow because I live in Kansas and everyone always makes “follow the yellow brick road” and other Wizard of Oz jokes to me. In the last image, I took a ground up picture of University Hall and manipulated the sky to make it more blue by changing the color balance. I distorted the entire image to make the building look taller and less crooked, and I also changed the brightness and contrast of the building to make it pop.
