Animal ID in 4Honline

ALL animals (except for poultry) are to be identified under the 4-H/FFA member’s profile in 4HOnline. When you are taking your animal’s pictures, please keep in mind, these pictures may be used to prove that the animal you bring to the fair is the same one you identified in 4Honline. So take good, clear pictures: Front, full left profile, full right profile and a close up of their tag/tattoo.

Instruction sheet to ID your animal in 4Honline

Deadlines:

MAY 1: Horses- upload Equistep completetion certificate and current year’s lease (if lease applicable)
Dogs:  Upload vaccination certificate

JUNE 1: Market and Breeding Animals

Goats/Sheep: Enter the entire official USDA Scrapies tag number. EX: IA 6504  G003 and make sure the Scrapies tag number is readable in at least one of the pictures.

Swine/Feeder calves:

840 EID tags are available for pick up at the Extension Office or at the Fairgrounds office for market hogs and feeder calves.
ENTER THE ENTIRE 15 DIGIT EID NUMBER INTO 4HONLINE WITHOUT SPACES OR DASHES IN THE RFID LOCATION.  You may also put the EID tag number in the tag location.

 

Once you submit your animal’s picture, you will get a confirmation email from 4Honline/Regmax stating you have submitted it for review by our office.

Once the Extension Office staff reviews your animal submission, you will receive a second email from 4Honline/Regmax stating the animals has been approved OR the animal was sent back for revisions.  If sent back, the email will tell you what you need to do for a correction, then resubmit.

Therefore, make sure emails from 4Honline/Regmax are accepted by your email carrier and NOT going to spam folder.
