Coming to OSU, I knew that I wanted to pursue biomedical research and prepare for a PhD. Since I’ve been here, ASC honors and the molecular genetics department has supported me and my research in more ways than I could have ever imagined. I’ve worked in academic labs and gene therapy industry labs, and have gotten to learn so much about future careers in research. My ultimate advice to new honors students is to go for every opportunity you can because you never know what you will learn and what amazing people you will meet! Outside of school, I love reading, running, and watching a lot of reality TV.
