It’s the final day at ASB 2015. Friday brought us the Borelli Award winner riding a unicycle on a high wire. Let’s see what Saturday will bring.
- The Fun Run is at 7am, and the group will leave the Hyatt lobby at 6:40.
- Breakfast is at 8am, not 7am like the past 2 days.
- The ASB Business Meeting will be held in the Regency Ballroom during lunch at 12:30. Everyone is welcome to grab their boxed lunch and participate.
- Tim Hewett will present the Hay Award Lecture at 1:30.
- Be sure to stick around for the closing ceremony and awards in Delaware CD starting at 4:30.
- We congratulate Gautam Kumar from VU University Amsterdam for winning the Vendor Selfie Challenge on Friday and picking up a nice iPad Air 2.
Friday News
We hope that you are enjoying your time at ASB 2015 and in Columbus, Ohio. Here are a few points to start off your Friday.
- Rodger Kram will present the Borelli Award Lecture at 8:15 am Friday in the Regency Ballroom. The Borelli Award, the most prestigious honor given by the ASB, recognizes outstanding career accomplishment and is awarded annually to an investigator who has conducted exemplary research in any area of biomechanics. This lecture is a highlight of every ASB, so we hope to see you there.
- Bill Marras will present our second keynote talk in the Regency Ballroom at 1:30 pm on Friday.
- Friday will conclude with a fantastic visit to the Center of Science and Industry (COSI). Transportation information can be found on our website.
- Looking for something to do after COSI? Stop by the Information Table to learn about the fantastic places to eat and drink downtown.
- We congratulate Robert Catena for taking more vendor selfies than anyone else on Thursday and winning himself and iPad Air 2. Do you want a prize yourself? The Exhibitor Challenge runs again on Friday. See your app for more details.
- The Fun Run will step off at 7am on Saturday, with the group leaving the hotel lobby at 6:40 am. Put those optimal running strategies to work!

- We would like to remind you that photography and video of podium presentations are not permitted. We ask attendees to contact the presenter instead to ask for more information using the ASB 2015 app.
- The ASB 2015 app allows you to enter an evaluation of each talk or the entire session (1-5 stars). Please use this feature, as it provides us with tremendous feedback for future conferences.
