How about charging a lower fee for 1-day and 2-day attendance? This would make the meeting more affordable for those of us whose areas of research are presented on only 1 or 2 days, and more of us might then attend.

A daily rate would be really helpful. I would expect it to be more than just the daily average of the full registration, but I think early August is a tough time to be available to stay for the full conference!
