Project Overview

This experiential learning and arts engagement program is made possible thanks to grant funding from the Mellon Foundation. This three-year project, which kicked off in the summer of 2024, provides real-world experience and professionalization for students from The Ohio State University in partnership with a variety of community arts and cultural organizations. This project seeks students and partner organizations with a focus on building just communities through the arts.

Dr. Lisa Florman, Vice Provost for the Arts and Professor of Art History serves as the project lead. Several units across campus are collaborating in this work, including:

  • Barnett Center for Integrated Arts and Enterprise
  • Imagined Futures
  • Office of Engagement, College of Arts and Sciences
  • Office of Academic Affairs
  • Urban Arts Space
  • Wexner Center for the Arts
