  1. Nice progress here Telanei! I think the two very different scales of these drawings will be very interesting when you merge them together! The jenga tower could seem like an actual tower or building depending on how you continue the composition! Or maybe this drawing of Jenga acts like a magnifying glass for a moment in the scene.

The strings of lights (or is ivy?) is an interesting pattern to tie these two scenes together and you might get kind of wild with how you continue to draw those. They might be a motif that reoccurs over and over, maybe transforming into a jungle of lights or ivy… If they are lights, how can you make them appear like they are glowing when you do the shading? You can play with it a bit and experiment with the way charcoal behaves to create light.

So, what is the story you are telling here? Is it a game night with your roommates? As you make your next drawing that is something to consider, and it could really define the narrative of the drawing. Maybe your third drawing has another game in it? Or is it a collapsed Jenga tower, so that a sense of time is drawn across the landscape with a “before” and “after”? There are so many paths you can take here! You do need to fit in an exterior scene, but you can easily do that with a window or even change the TV screen to have a landscape in it, instead of the static Netflix symbol.

I think as you dive into the details of this drawing you can really start to make some interesting decisions to put your voice in this depiction of your living room! Looking forward to seeing more!
