The Art & Tech Club is currently headed up by Art & Tech grads Blake Turner, Bill Randall, and Jessica Ann. We hope to put the club to good use this year, scheduling programming and building an undergraduate and graduate art & tech community.

// Membership:

Please register for the club on our membership page. New this year is a $7 membership fee. After you register and pay the fee you will receive an Art & Tech Club tshirt (see below).  If you joined last semester please stop by room 156 to pick up your shirt.  Meetings now scheduled for first Monday of each month in room 156 7:30 – 8:30pm.  See you February 2nd!

We are now accepting proposals for Programming Funds for events between August 16th – October 16th 2015. Our goal is to bring in a visiting artist to do a lecture and/or workshop. If you have an artist in mind please contact Jessica @ann.7@osu.edu before April 1!

Visiting Artist Adam Holtzlinger: Sherman Art Center (West Campus) on January 28th, 7 – 9:30pm – Glass Demo

Hopkins Hall (room TDB) on January 29th, 4 – 5pm

After receiving a BFA in Glass from the Cleveland Institute of Art, Adam Holtzinger moved to Brooklyn, NY to pursue a career in glass blowing. Once in NYC, Adam began designing and fabricating work for designers and artists, as well as other glass makers. Since 2003, Adam has taught, lectured and demonstrated glass blowing nationally and internationally at Pilchuck Glass School, Penland School of Crafts, Pittsburgh Glass Center, Corning Museum of Glass, University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, NOCA, 141 Penn Studios, Urban Glass, Osaka Art University in Osaka Japan and Tama Glass School in Tokyo Japan.  Hosted by the Glass Club

Visiting Artist Kurt Hentschläger: Wexner Center Film / Video theater on March 11 at 4:30pm.

Chicago based Austrian artist Kurt Hentschläger creates audiovisual installations and
performances. Between 1992 and 2003 he worked collaboratively within the artist duo
“Granular-Synthesis”.  Hosted by the Art and Tech Club
