Make 13 gesture drawings, preferably related to nature. Please make two basic groups of drawings: a first group consists of 8 drawings made with rapid movements of pencil, charcoal, or pen and a second group of 5 drawings still suggesting rapid movement but more time-consuming to complete.
Group 1 of 8 quick drawings:
Drawing 1 in group 1: Pine needle stem with pinecone attached
Drawing 2 in group 1: Monstera leaf
Drawing 3 in group 1: Asparagus trio
Drawing 4 in group 1: Broccoli cluster
Drawing 5 in group 1: Radish
Drawing 6 in group 1: Carrot
Drawing 7 in group 1: Hydrangea flower with leaves
Drawing 8 in group 1: Fern leaf
Group 2 of 5 more time consuming drawings:
Drawing 1 in group 2: Birchwood forest with grassy floor
Drawing 2 in group 2: Hydrangea bush – I liked drawing the single flower, so I decided to draw a seperate, larger bush
Drawing 3 in group 2: Look down on a Lake Erie dock with rocky shores
Drawing 4 in group 2: Neighborhood pond with mixed trees
Drawing 5 in group 2: I decided to try some charcoal. With that being said, this is a Boxwood bush that has been left rounded
