Three words I would use to describe myself
I have faced many hardships throughout my life, but what makes me strong is my ability to grow and learn from my struggles. I am very goal oriented and feel that when I dedicate myself to something I do not settle for being good at it I want to be the best I can be at what every I do no matter what it is.

Artifact #1:
Mentoring and helping high school aged kids study and learn Calculus, 2019
As a student that was very successful in this subject I was approached by my teacher many times and instructed to help others learn how to do well in calculus. I was proud to see these students improve because it made me feel like I made a difference in helping someone else.
Artifact #2:
Coaching young children in soccer, 2018
I played soccer throughout most of my childhood and in high school so I loved the sport. When in high school my old youth coach asked me if I wanted to be his assistant for his age 4-5 soccer team and I instantly agreed. It was really cool to teach the children how to become better players and see them improve as in their first season they went 1-5 and in their second season they went 6-0.
