This video is primarily focused on the benefits of passing the CPA exam. In this video Brian Kesler describes his work life after the CPA exam. His video about the CPA exam is relevant because the CPA exam is a difficult exam to pass but it opens a number of opportunities in the business world today. The video does a good job in explaining these five benefits, but it doesn’t explain how it will affect the day to day work schedule of the exam. Bryan Kesler does not give any tips on how to study for the CPA exam as well.

The reason why I wanted to share this article is to show the demanding responsibility that auditors have. In this article, there has been poor oversight with Camp Blanding accounts. This resulted in an inappropriate budget that Camp Banding officials can’t operate out of. Again, the disadvantage with this article is that it doesn’t show the day to day lives of an accountant but it does show that the opportunities of being an accountant are limitless.
Deloitte is one of the best accounting firms in the country. In this website, the Deloitte company explains the different career positions an accountant can apply for. It gives opportunity to those who came right out of college or for people who have experience with the accounting career. The only weakness I see in this website is that the its a lot of information to take in. A prospective employee can get overwhelmed with all the information.

This website gives an overview for those who want to pursue a career in finance or accounting(the two are one in the same). The website gives you an overview on what an accountant is, what they do, and the many roles they play within a business. The only disadvantage it has is that the website doesn’t show the demands of the day to day operations of being an accountant.

This journal article discuss the tax benefit rule affects at the local and state level. It also discusses how accountants will operate now that the tax benefit rule is now in place. It is a great read for people who understand the terminology of accounting but it will be confusing for those are not experienced enough.
