“My uncle made this hat some 20 years ago when he was in high school. It’s not a particularly useful hat, but when I’m amongst wilderness and here in Daniel Boone National Forest, I feel like it’s appropriate to wear. It usually draws a lot of attention and compliments, so I figured as long as it makes people smile, I’ll keep wearing it. Plus, I kinda feel like a badass in the damn thing. ”
