The Holiest of Them All

Several centuries ago, religion and ideas of different religions were coming out and there was a debate on what is actually the truth. There still is of course, but it all had to start at some point. The revelation of it all was said to begin in 610 A.D. The angel Jibrīl

approached prophet Muhammad in the cave reciting Hira, reciting the first verses. This essentially was the start. The Quran is the sacred book for the followers of Islam and is believed to be the word of God. The Quran provides insight and instruction on every aspect of how to live life, describes signs of God’s existence in the universe, is a continuous teaching of other prophets like Jesus, and explains the world we live in. Muslims believe the same message that there is one God and no one else but him. There are five pillars of Islam that the Quran teaches and Muslims must follow. The five pillars consist of a declaration of faith, obligatory prayer five times a day, giving to charity, fasting during the month of Ramadan, and a pilgrimage to Mecca once. Of course, there are more rules the Quran explains that Muslims must follow. Nowadays, the Quran comes in different sizes and forms, with the same text. This book belongs to many Arab cultures, but also does not belong to many.

In the modern world today, people get racially profiled just like how it was back then. Over the past years, a group that calls themselves Isis came to be. They claim themselves as Muslim and followers of Islam. People that do not have knowledge on the topic tend to then think all the followers of Islam are bad and that the message of the Quran is negative. Some of the Arab cultures are affected because of getting targeted because of crimes. They get racially abused and even brutally attacked just because they are followers of a book. Obviously, this is not the case at all about the religion and people of the religion. Islam is a very peaceful religion and the message of the Quran promotes peace and forbids everything that does not. The Quran, a book for the followers of Islam, has its haters, but also has a strong faithful following behind the book and with the book. The people against the book are the ones that do not know the actual message of it. I advise you to learn about the message of the whole book and maybe read some of it as well.
