Daniel Peart

Daniel Peart is a PhD Candidate in the Ohio State University’s Department of Anthropology. In his research, Daniel addresses how human systems and ecological systems intersected during human evolution to produce behavioral variation. Daniel employs agent-based modeling and GIS approaches to answer these questions. Over the last few years Daniel has spent three field seasons excavating middle stone age sites in South Africa. Daniel is also interested in scientific outreach and encourages everyone to consider technology, politics, and culture from an anthropological perspective.
