Brief description of your team:

The Ag Safety & Health Team identifies and coordinates formal and non-formal educational resources (news articles, social media communications, factsheets, curriculum, technology APPs) to create awareness for best management practices in the agricultural industry. The occupational safety field is very broad – including everything from general farmstead safety, family-related issues (from young workers to senior farmers), roadway safety, emergency preparedness, and overall worker health. Team members will discuss and determine outreach and applied research projects with the goal to reduce injuries on farms and in rural populations.
