Andrew Merz Resume
Bio
Hello, I am Andrew Merz and I am studying Materials Science and Engineering at The Ohio State University. I am currently employed as an undergraduate research assistant at the Center for Design and Manufacturing Excellence. I have research experience in the Welding Engineering laboratories and numerous academic project experiences from microfluidics and nanotechnology to coding a simple Wack-o-Mole game. There is a link above with my resume.
I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. I am a fan of anything Ohio sports (Cleveland Indians and Browns), and I am a huge Columbus Blue Jackets fan. I enjoy the outdoors, and I am always down to do or play anything for fun. I used to play dek hockey and baseball as a kid. One thing I regret is never learning how to skate when I was younger, but I plan on playing intramural hockey next year (as a beginner).
I grew up in a Lebanese-American household. My mother is from Lebanon and moved to the U.S. when she was a teenager. I have a lot of family still in Lebanon. Sadly, I’ve only visited Lebanon once, but it is such a beautiful and fun place. After I graduate, I would definitely like to go traveling and visit there again.
