History/Evolution of the Otavalan people: The Otavalan people are of the northern region of the Country of Ecuador. The Otavalan people are an indigenous peoples. Their history evolves from the pre inca period, through the spaniards invasion, into developing into a current city in northern Ecuador that still produces goods and runs as a town. The Otavalan people are an indigenous people that were first invaded by the Inca. Soon the Inca were invaded by the Spaniards. The Otavalo people were quichua speaking people and were known mainly for their goods. These people made textile goods in the preindustrial period in their households which were then sold in markets and also in the industrial periods when factories were introduced, these people created many goods that were sold for a reasonable price. They made many different items such as clothe, hats, men and women clothing, jewelry, and many more items. This is the main thing that these people are known for, is their textile crafts and the goods they produced and sold. Doing so, evolved their culture and group into very important ideas such as trade and entrepreneurship. The area is made up of many people and many of whom create goods and are involved in weaving, but importantly there are many people that are involved in picking wool, getting the materials needed to create, farmers and cultivators, and more roles in the community. This town has evolved into a full working town that has many different parts and roles for the many different families that live there.
