I am a 5th year student at Ohio State University. I grew up in southeastern Ohio, in a town named Little Hocking. There, I completed two Associate’s Degrees, Liberal Arts and General Science, while completing my third and fourth year of high school through the Post Secondary Enrollment Option (PSEO) Program. After that, I was accepted to Ohio State and the Dunn Sports and Wellness Scholars Program in 2013. I began as a Neuroscience major and in my 3rd year I began pursuing a dual degree after adding Biological Engineering. I will be graduating from Ohio State University in the Spring of 2019 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Neuroscience and a Bachelor’s of Engineering in Biological Engineering. I plan to further my education with a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, specifically Neuroengineering before entering the work force. I am also interested in pursing a Professional Engineering License. For my future career, I would love to work for a company on projects centered around the development and improvement of neuroprosthetics and other medical devices.
