Hi! My name is Amanda Manko and I am a senior in Biological Engineering at The Ohio State University. After graduation in December, I hope to pursue a career in design engineering specifically with mobility devices and assistive technology. For my capstone project, I am designing an assistive device to provide a way for people in wheelchairs to access the seat of a skid loader. This project has allowed me to strengthen my problem solving and design skills while introducing me to safety considerations and ergonomic designing.
