One beginning of an argument

Starting off talking about students stress well before COVID-19 can be argumentative whether students were facing struggles in college or not. College students were always under pressure, in my opinion, either from their parents, instructors, or even their friends. Reasons can actually differ from one student to another, however, they can be mostly around the same topic. Parents can be of a big role in student’s college life in taking a decision they should not have, or instructors putting their students under too much work, or even keeping up with friends and social life from college stress. This can all affect the life of a college student and can make it so stressful. However, this all was nothing when COVID-19 hit, everything just went out of control. Lots of students had to just take the semester or even the whole year off away of college. Studying and trying to be focus in such a pandamic can be very tough and some students just can’t stand it. Students were affected by many ways if it either was health, financial, or social struggles. Sources that can be used are just by looking at the numbers of students in class or even who registered for classes in this time period (will provide it as a graph in paper).

I chose this source because it strengthen my argument so so many information and true studies that offers tons of results of why college students are developing stress.

From what I can see, this article was before the pandemic, however, it is very important to show how students were under stress in a time that pandemic does not exist which will give us the pure reasons because as of now we can say a lot of things had been caused by COVID but this is a good reflection before COVID hits.

This source was from LearnPsychology which examines so many topics and found it very helpful to my topic because I needed an analysis in much more details about college students stress and it was good to have it done by psychologists.

I found this source in the internet database while I was specifically looking for article that included graphs and studies to strengthen my argument and thesis.

Interview with a college student

This source was the best for me so far because it  covered all what a college student goes through, he discussed so many points that will be helpful in writing this argument and it was all about the stress that he experienced before and during COVID in college.

Mazen Yaser who is a student at OSU, in his third year. Related to our topic or even that is who we are talking about.

I chose this source because it is the most reliable source I can get to. I think this interview will add a lot to my topic because I was told the experience of an individual in college life.

This interview took place last week during this pandemic and it is the most relevant information I have so far.

I found this source from the actual college here, who is a feeling the real experience of our topic.

We went through a process of interviewing with all the questions I wanted to ask and collect information as much as possible to get the real and full picture of the stress of a college student.

Even though this source was published in 2019, it show how students were experiencing stress even before this global pandemic and proves the main point even in normal time.

I found this source in The American Institute of Stress which is an organization that reflects its members stress and go in details of the reasons behind it.

I found this source in an essay that mentioned this topic and went through a process to make sure this source is trustable and it seems reliable so that is how I found it.

Copyright Presentation

Today, Trademark was very helpful with his presentation and offered a lot of information to all students in class. I did not know what copyrights were and even what it means, this something that will defeinently help me in the future. I understood that it is a property that has its own rights that nobody can violate. He even gave examples that made a lot of sense just by how it simply works. He did change my thinking as of how I can create a copyright for myself if it either was social media or business documents in the future. This was a great opportunity for us to learn about this early because it sets us up for success when we get to the time we need these information.
