The brothers of Alpha Kappa Lambda spent the past two days stationed on the Oval, trading donuts for donations, filling our promise wall, and supporting one of our national philanthropies, These Hands Don’t Hurt. Mu Chapter also paired with The Ohio State University’s student organization Take Back The Night to help them collect love letters to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. We at AKL are proud to show our support of these organizations and do all we can to change the climate on OSU’s campus. All donations received during These Hands Donut Hurt benefit LSS Choices, a local domestic violence shelter. We will be back out on the oval this upcoming fall to collect more donations because we believe that someday hands will never hurt.
