Summary

This course has been very helpful in aiding my learning abilities especially during these hard times. Classes being converted to an online format provides many challenges for many students. It is a large learning curve that we must all over come. This course would be a great addition to any student who many need some further tips and tricks to tackling this new format. So what are some things I have taken away from this course?

1.) First, I have taken away the tips of setting S.M.A.R.T goals. These smart goals are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time bound goals. These goals are helpful in setting aside tasks that are realistic. It is easy to set aside goals that are very longterm and may seem out of reach. This can leave you feeling overwhelmed and unsuccessful. The lack of instant results can cause a person to give up and feel unmotivated. These goals are shorter term and achievable. It will help leave a sense of accomplishment once completed and will be easier to achieve each goal.

2.)Secondly, I have taken away several organizational techniques. We have discussed the importance of being organized within this course and have discussed many organizational techniques. I have learned a lot about setting aside allotted times for studying and completing work. This helps ensure that I have tine set aside each day for my work and am more likely top complete it. I will be taking away the app Study Scheduler. This app has benefited me and my studying significantly. It alerts you when it is time to complete work, encouraging you to actually do it. It helps hold me accountable and ensure all of my time and assignments are organized.

3.)Lastly, I am taking away the strategy of using the correct sources. We emphasized the importance of using credible sources and how the information can be obtained from these sources. Using the correct sources are extremely important when completing work. These sources are used more in an online setting so it is more important now than ever. It is important to ensure the information. you are receiving is from a legit, credible source that has knowledge on the topic.
