Alpha Lambda Delta (ALD) is the freshman honorary at The Ohio State University. In order to be invited to join this group, a potential member must maintain a first semester GPA of 3.5 or higher. Members are only active for one year within ALD; however, the benefits of membership last a lifetime.
While it takes a high GPA to get into ALD, this organization is not just about grades. ALD is also a philanthropic organization, very much like the National Honor Society which most of our members joined in high school.
ALD is run by an executive board of its active members. You can read more about these positions and the people currently holding these positions by clicking on the corresponding links below.

*Update: Until recently, this organization was called ALDPES and included membership to both Alpha Lambda Delta and Phi Eta Sigma. Now, as a result of a decision made by the national organizations, these two groups have separated. This site is managed by the OSU chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta.
