I am a person who greatly enjoys doing creative things. I love using my brain to come up with new solutions to problems in daily life, but one of the things that I enjoy most is teaching. I have a strong background in teaching, as I spent 7 weeks of the summer of 2014 teaching 11-17 year old boys at a Boy Scout Camp. I also spend every Sunday morning working personally with two kids in a Sunday school classroom that need a little extra help. Every Tuesday evening, I work alongside two of my peers to watch anywhere from 10-15 kids during their parents’ Bible study, which includes teaching Bible lessons to them. I am excited by challenges to make complicated ideas easy for young kids to understand as well as making them fun. I plan on becoming a Special Education teacher through the Moderate to Intensive Intervention Specialist program at the Ohio State University. I am looking forward to my time here and am excited to see how I learn and change as a person by all of the obstacles that I will overcome.
