Hello! My name is A.J. Sweigart and I am a fourth year Forestry and Wildlife student with a minor in Human and Animal Interactions.
I am really looking forward to learning more about and identifying native species!

My coat of arms (left) represents a few important aspects of my life, including a crude symbol of a wave for my love of the ocean, my home town Naples, Florida, and the quote “Plant the seed and wait.” I picked that quote particularly because it is relevant to the class and I thinkĀ is a great motto for success.
I enjoy visiting local metroparks, botanical gardens, and public lands on my free time as any excuse to get outside and spend time in nature. To the right is a picture of a stained glass arrangement at the Franklin Park Conservatory, a collection of botanical gardens in Columbus I visited while interning with Chadwick Arboretum this summer.
