 The Association of Graduate and Professional Administrators (AGPA) is a professional network of administrators involved with graduate and professional education at The Ohio State University. AGPA invites our colleagues from Ohio State and institutions across the state of Ohio to our 3rd AGPA Summer Conference: FOCUS – Fostering Outreach, Creating Unconditional Support. This all-day conference will take place in Columbus, Ohio on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at the Ohio Union on The Ohio State University’s campus.

Pricing:

• Early bird (until June 28):  $25
• Regular (after June 28):    $35

Parking passes may be purchased with registration for $9.75 per day. For driving directions and parking information, refer to the Ohio Union website.

Day of the event

On-site registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Cartoon Room on the third floor of the Ohio Union. An overview of the conference schedule will be provided for you in your welcome folder at the registration table.

11 – 11:30 a.m.                 Professional headshots (Art of Practice Room)
11 a.m. – noon                      Breakout Session 2 (Shorter sessions available for those attending the REACH training)
Noon. – 1:20 p.m.                Lunch & Plenary Speaker (Cartoon Room, 3rd floor of Ohio Union)

A photographer will be available at 11 a.m. to provide the perfect professional headshot for your LinkedIn page or employee profile. See the conference agenda above for the location.

Wi-Fi

Wireless Internet: Ohio State students, faculty, and staff should use the osuwireless network as the primary means for wireless connectivity. Guests and visitors to the university are encouraged to use WiFi@OSU, which is free to connect to after confirming the university’s acceptable use policy. Parking

• Directions to the Ohio Union can be found on the Ohio Union website.
• For Ohio State employees with a keycard, the Ohio Union North Garage will be available. Additional keycard parking is available at the ARPS or the Gateway Garage.
• Non-keycard parking is available at the Ohio Union South Garage. The daily rate is $13.75.
• Limited street parking is also available around the Ohio Union.

Accessibility

• If you have questions concerning access,  or if you wish to request a sign language interpreter or accommodations for a disability, please contact Alisa Tate at tate.205@osu.edu. Early requests are encouraged; a week’s notice will generally allow us to provide seamless access.
• The Ohio Union provides a variety of amenities and services including wheelchairs, a gender-neutral bathroom, and a lactation room. For more information about these facilities, visit the information desk on the first floor.
