Undergraduate student position:
A new undergraduate student ideally from Materials Science, Physics or other related disciplines in Engineering is needed to involve in our NSF funded project “Collaborative research: Magnetic mapping of bio-inspired clusters of iron oxide nanoparticles“. Prior experience in microscopy techniques and/or experience with iron-oxide nanoparticles is highly desirable. The project involves collaboration with scientists at the University of Colorado and at the NIST facility in Boulder, CO.
A new undergraduate student ideally from Biomedical or Mechanical engineering is needed to involve in our NSF funded project “Collagen fibril structure, surface charge and vascular calcification“. Prior experience in microscopy techniques and/or experience with collagen/tissues is highly desirable.
