What is the AEV Project?

The Advanced Energy Vehicle (AEV) Project is a design-and-build project for first-year engineering students in their second semester of the first-year engineering program at The Ohio State University. Students are tasked with designing and constructing an advanced energy vehicle to properly address a real-world transit scenario (in conjunction with the goals of the Smart City Columbus Initiative) using skills acquired over the course of their first two semesters.

Mission: Design an Advanced Energy Vehicle transportation system that can bring residents of Linden safely, efficiently, and comfortably, to Polaris and Easton.
