The AEV was not ran on the test track; however, many conclusions could be made using the concept screening and scoring matrices. The screening matrix and scoring matrix are shown below. Each table was used to eliminate potential design ideas and decide which design ideas would be continued to be tested and developed. It was decided that Rayna and Mary’s designs would continue in the designing process and influence the final design. Moving forward, screening and scoring matrices can be used to quickly decide how a specific design compares to other designs. This will be very helpful as the group works towards finalizing the final design of the AEV.
