Are you experiencing an issue with your Qualtrics surveys? Sometimes the system can get a little buggy. Here are some quick areas to check first.
Remember, if something isn’t working the way you expected in Qualtrics, you can always contact the Qualtrics Customer Support area. Just go to your survey and click “Help” in the top right of your screen!
Changes not saving.
If you find that changes you are making are disappearing, it may be that the automatic saving feature isn’t working properly. To fix this, clear the browsing data in your web browser. Include clearing your cache, cookies, and browser history. (It’s okay to not clear saved passwords.)
Default choices from embedded data labels not populating.
This may be caused by the fact that the embedded data code was just typed into the field, as opposed to being set up as a default choice. To fix this:
- Click the gear beside the question you want to populate with embedded data labels. Select Add Default Choices.
- Click Clear to remove any current choices.
- In Edit Survey, go to the question you want to prepopulate.
- Beside the field you want to prepopulate, click the blue arrow.
- Hover over Embedded Data Field, then either type the embedded data label or click the blue box ▼ and choose from the list of embedded data labels currently associated with the survey.
- Click Insert. Qualtrics will copy the embedded data format into the field. For example: ${e://Field/your-embedded-data-label}
- Click Save.
