Course Registration Overview:
Autumn Semester 2025
The nursing coursework is sequential in nature and classes must be taken in a particular order. We have provided a schedule of the Autumn 2025 courses you are expected to enroll in by July 1st. The course number is provided for you so you can search and add a course by using this number. If you are applying to the Honors Program please schedule around the Honors seminar to prevent later changes to your schedule.
Please note: Students may enroll in classes 24-48 hours after accepting their offer of admission. This allows time for the system to update your major to allow you to schedule for nursing major coursework. For additional questions regarding scheduling please email con-advising@osu.edu.
AUTUMN 2025 COURSES
- Nursing 2451 Nursing Pathophysiology & Pharmacology 1 (3 credit hours)
- Nursing 2200 Art of Professional Nursing 1 (2 credit hours)
- This course has a lecture and a seminar group. Please be sure to enroll in both lecture and seminar when scheduling.
- Nursing 2500 Introduction to Social Justice and Health Policy (1 credit hour)
- Nursing 5115 Mindstrong (1 credit hour)
- If you have previously earned credit for this course or Nursing 1100, you do not need to enroll in this course for autumn.
- Microbiology 4010 (3 credit hours)
- Nursing 2271 Foundational Knowledge for Nursing Practice 1 (4 credit hours)
- There is a lecture and clinical component for this course. Please be sure to enroll in both the lecture and the clinical when scheduling.
Honors Coursework
- Nursing 2890.01H Sophomore Honors Seminar
- This will be added by Student Affairs upon acceptance to the Honors Program

Other Scheduling Considerations:
If you have previous credit for Mindstrong or Microbiology, you may have additional space in your autumn schedule. If you wish to fill this space you may:
- Schedule a GE course (please refer to your Degree Audit for GE classes)
- Enroll only in the nursing classes
- Enroll in classes toward a preferred minor or certificate
