College of Nursing Honors Program

The College of Nursing Honors Program admits a select group of students who are interested in working closely with a faculty mentor to design and complete a research study.  Students in our Honors Program are mentored in research and are at the forefront of creating evidence to advance nursing practice and improve healthcare outcomes.  Many opportunities evolve from this experience such as presenting at major research conferences and publishing in high impact healthcare journals. Students in the Honors Program who complete their projects will graduate with “Honors Research Distinction in Nursing” from the College of Nursing, the highest distinction an undergraduate student can attain at The Ohio State University (OSU). Past Honors students have reported that employers and graduate schools have routinely recognized their Honors status at OSU.  If you are interested please complete the application below.   Applications are due July 22, 2024.
