Flexible Work Arrangement Reminder

All faculty and staff who are working remotely in any capacity must complete a Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA) for the time period of February 1, 2024 – January 31, 2025 to appropriately document their work locations and collect information for tax reporting purposes.

Employees and managers should have conversations and reference the Flexible Work Policy to align with the expectations for any flexible work arrangement. For the College of Optometry, the minimum expectation is for faculty and staff to be on-campus three times per week, during their normal work week. Some employees may be on-campus more/less dependent upon their job requirements and/or personal needs. All derivations from Optometry’s minimum expectations must be discussed with the respective manager and in-unit HR team for review and approval.
