This year, I have grown a lot as a student and a person. I have definitely become a more independent individual by living on campus and not having to lean on my parents. Although it was difficult thanks to COVID, I have made many friends and accomplished many things! I did well in my classes and learned how to effectively study in order to both understand the material and know it for the exams. I have started to become more involved– I am looking into research positions, have emailed a coordinator about volunteering at a hospital, rushed for Delta Omega Kappa, and interviewed for College Mentors for Kids. I am so excited for next year, where I will start taking my major classes and meet so many more people!
