Adams County Junior Fair is once again offering Test Out options in 2021. This is an opportunity for youth ages 12 and up to take and pass an exam in place of attending the required annual Quality Assurance training.
Youth ages 12-14 years old who pass the QA test can test out of their annual QA program for up to three (3) years. At the age of 15 as of January 1, current year, youth must then take the 15-18 year old test. Youth ages 15-18 years old who pass the QA test can test out of their annual QA program permanently. These ages are as of January 1, 2021 – a youth’s 4-H age. In order to pass the test, members must score a 70% or higher.
Tests are scheduled to be administered in the high school ag room at the following:
North Adams High School – Wednesday, March 31 at 2:15 p.m.
Manchester High School – Friday, April 2 at 2:45 p.m.
West Union High School – Monday, April 19 at 2 p.m.
Peebles High School – Tuesday, April 20 at 2 p.m.
Students planning to take the test should be in the ag room before the scheduled time and ready to take the exam. Youth who do not pass the exam will be required to attend a quality assurance training in order to exhibit their livestock at the 2021 Adams County Junior Fair.
