Training dates for 4-H Volunteers returning in 2021 have been set for Thursday, January 21 at 7 p.m. or Saturday, January 30 at 9 a.m. via Zoom. Password for both trainings is 2021. All returning volunteers are encouraged to attend one of these sessions, but clubs should be sure that at least one volunteer logs on to hear important information for the upcoming program year.
New Volunteer Training will take place on Tuesday, February 9 at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom. Any volunteer that has applied since February 2020 should plan to attend this comprehensive training. If you are interested in volunteering, or know someone that is, please visit our Become a Volunteer page and complete the New Volunteer application prior to February 1, 2021 so we can begin the enrollment process.
For 2021, Policy 1.50 will be offered as an asynchronous training that volunteers will complete at their convenience prior to February 15. The training will occur using Ohio State’s Canvas Scarlett system. Information to register for Policy 1.50 training will be available from Ohio 4-H soon.
