ACEL Graduation Breakfast
On Sunday, May 8, 2016, graduating students and their families are invited to attend a breakfast hosted by ACEL Alumni. Breakfast will be served from 8-10am, so join at a time convenient for you and your guests. RSVP by emailing the number in your party to acel@osu.edu.

Undergraduate Scholarship Availability to Attend the Women in Agribusiness Summit 
The Women in Agribusiness Initiative holds an annual summit devoted to developing professionals, networking, and learning about industry trends. The mission of the Women in Agribusiness is to “help all organizations understand the value of recruiting, retaining and advancing women in agribusiness.” The Women in Agribusiness has invited female undergraduates from The Ohio State University to apply for scholarships to attend the 2016 summit held at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago September 27-29. Applications are due by July 21. If awarded, the scholarship will include free registration and hotel accommodations for 2 nights. If awarded the Gender Initiative may be able to cover transportation to Chicago.

Study Abroad

First Year Only Study Abroad
This once in a lifetime opportunity will give freshmen a first-hand experience with Nicaraguan culture, the global economy and environmental issues. Students will stay in hotels and with a Nicaraguan family for one night to explor cultural differences on a famililar, day-in-the-life level. Planned tours include food production, cultural and natural sites and animal health facilities in Nicaragua. Presentations will range from economics to the cultural significance of the environment.
