Ag Ed Society raising funds for Honduran village
The Agricultural Education Society is currently collecting donations for the 2nd annual study abroad trip to Choluteca, Honduras!  Several club members are going on this experience and are trying to raise money for a small island that they are traveling to on their trip.  The island is Boca del Rojo Viejo and is a small village that relies strictly on the fish that they catch on their coast to feed their people.  Unfortunately, this means that they are very scarce in several grains such as corn, wheat, beans, etc.  Also, the Nicaraguan military has been regulating their access to fishing areas, so now there is even a bigger need for food in their village.  AES has a fundraising page through Go Fund Me and the goal is $1,500.  Each donation counts, so even a small amount would be very helpful!  The money will be sent to Honduras in May with the students and faculty. The funds will be used to purchase the grains/food needed to help feed Boca del Rojo Viejo.  Any donation helps! www.gofundme.com/hondurasdonations
