ACEL Spring Recognition Event Date Set
The 2nd Annual ACEL Spring Recognition Event will be held on Tuesday, April 21. Additional details will be emailed soon!

East Ohio Women in Agriculture Conference
The second annual East Ohio Women in Agriculture Conference will be March 27, 2015 at the Kent State University Tuscarawas Branch in New Philadelphia. This year’s program will feature 12 break-out sessions related to: Business & Finance, Production- Made/Grown, Entrepreneurial, and Family & Community. The keynote speaker will be agricultural attorney, Kristi Wilhemy. Employers on Campus (EOC)
Employers on Campus is a new opportunity for students to interact with potential employers. Come to the new CFAES Student Success Center and Library in the Agricultural Administration Building and meet with employers, no appointment required. EOCs have been designed to mutually benefit students and employers by building relationships, providing career advice and more. Different employers will host office hours in the Success Center where students can have their resumes reviewed, conduct a quick mock interview or just learn more about the company.

Paid Summer Research Opportunity at Ohio State:  Center for Higher Education Enterprise (CHEE) NSF-REU
The Center for Higher Education Enterprise (CHEE) is seeking rising sophomores, juniors, or seniors interested in doing research that helps solve a critical problem.
Research assistants in CHEE will have the opportunity to work on one of the following projects:
College success of foster care youth alumni study
College success of private independent school alumni study
College success of rural youth study
As a CHEE Research Assistant, you will:
Conduct literature reviews
Assist with program evaluation
Learn a diversity of research methods
Work with a diverse staff

The Office of Student Life’s Buckeye Leadership Fellows Program in partnership with Leadership Columbus invites OSU Students to its “Leadership Luncheon Series.”

Plan for Sibs and Kids Weekend 2015: March 27 – March 29
It is time to start making plans for Sibs and Kids Weekend 2015.  Sibs and Kids Weekend is an opportunity for current students to bring their siblings, children, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends to campus to experience what Ohio State has to offer.  Last year this event attracted over 2500 guests to campus to experience life as a Buckeye.  Registration for this weekend is $5 and all pre-registered guests will receive a Sibs and Kids Weekend Souvenir. Student organizations are encouraged to host events during Sibs and Kids Weekend to showcase your groups and your Buckeye pride!  If you and your student organization wish to host an event on campus during the weekend or advertise an event you are hosting, please contact our Parent and Family Relations Office via phone at 614-292-9153 or email at parentandfamily@osu.edu.  All guests receive a weekend events calendar promoting all events upon check-in.
