Module 4

In this module i have learned about so many different strategies to improve my study habits, for example i have learned about this method to help me comprehend and remember  everything i read. I also learned about a couple online tools that i would recommend to all students from quizlet to grammarly. the most important thing i learned in this module is to maximize all the resources available to you because you never know what can click during an exam. it can be something that you read on quizlet that helps you on an important question you were stuck on.

Module 3

The most useful thing i learned in this module is that the reason we tend to procrastinate is because of our fear of failure. we use procrastination as a defense mechanism because we are afraid of failing even after we’ve put in all of the leg work. one thing I’ve learned in this module that has been working for me is  breaking tasks into smaller tasks.  for example i have been studying for my midterm by reviewing one chapter a day till I’ve covered  all of the necessary chapters in the upcoming midterm. The advice i would give students is to limit the hours you spend on your phone. I would also tell them to attend class every day even though you might think it is not necessary to attend certain days. The reason i say this is because you never know what useful information you might find out from your professor that day like the answer to one of the questions on the test or extra credit and so on.

ESESPY 1159 Student audience

In the Second Module of this course i learned a lot of things that could be very helpful to someone who is just graduating high school which i would like to share. The main point of this module was the idea of “netiquette” which is all about our online presence. in this digital world there can be a lot of consequences for what we post online ranging from getting kicked out of school or an employer deciding to not hire someone because of what they posted on social media.  We’ve seen people get fired over tweets from five years ago which some people might argue is unfair but unfortunately that is the world we now live in. The key to avoiding this issue is to not engage in “flame wars” which is public arguments. It is very important to think about what your posting because every time you press send you’re creating a permanent digital footprint which could harm your digital reputation.

The Second important point i would like to share is to remember that your audience cannot see your face or hear your voice of tone. Most people tend to forgot this but what this really means is that you should avoid capitalizing in all of your text becomes that can come across as yelling on the internet. you also need to avoid sarcasm because that can be easily misinterpreted even though you meant to be sarcastic.
