  1. Team Goal
  • All team members hope to achieve an A in the class lab section. Members expect effort reflecting this goal. Minimum acceptable goal is a passing grade.
  1. Meetings
  • Once a week during assigned lab period (Hitchcock 224 @12:45), additional meetings will be scheduled on a need-be basis.

  1. Expectations
  • Attendance:
    • Members expected to attend all meetings, unless sick.
  • Behavior:
    • Behavior during lab and class time is expected to be professional, staying on track to finish all needed work
    • Behavior during meetings is expected to be professional, staying on topic and working at the task at hand.
  • Unacceptable interaction includes:
    • any aggressive conflicts
    • jeopardizing project integrity or progress.
  • Between Class Expectations:
    • Members are expected to complete assigned tasks based on roles, asking for assistance when needed.
    • All preparation must be completed before class by assigned members
  • Focus
    • All members should hold each other accountable for staying on track during class and meetings.
    • Members should express concerns about focus verbally when problems arise.
  • Document Sharing
    • If documents must be shared, the documents should be sent via email to applicable members.
  • Assignment Completion
    • Members should have their portion of assignments completed 12 hours before the assignment is due.
  • Concerns
    • Members should notify team of struggling concerns as soon as they become a major concern and may affect performance.

  • Roles will rotate if members request a change
  1. Conflict Resolution
  • Team members will continuously address concerns with problem team members
  • If a conflict arises, calm dialogue should occur to attempt to resolve problem.
  • Members that not meeting expectations will be talked to by the group and negotiate ways to resolve problem behavior
  • Members that are not acting properly will also be addressed by the group in hopes of resolving the problem
  • Redefining goals, expectations, and responsibilities is acceptable as long as the whole group agrees upon the final result
  • GTA’s and UTA’s will be consulted once a conflict is unresolved by the group and a critical problem will arise.
  1. GTA/Faculty Expectations
  • If a team member fails to live up to this agreement, the situation may be reported to the staff, but the team will still be responsible for submitting a completed assignment. Staff will be available to meet with teams to resolve issues.
