4-H Riding Therapy needs NEW VOLUNTEERS for 2025
If you are a current 4-H volunteer in Morgan County with an interest in helping with the very unique 4-H Riding Therapy program call the office at 740-962-4854 and let us know. If you know someone that might be a great volunteer for this program let them know they can apply online at https://go.osu.edu/ridingtherapy2025. The deadline to complete the online application is January 31st.
EquiSTEP Reminder
All 4-H members taking Horse projects are required to complete EquiSTEP. Due to lack of registration the face-to-face training scheduled for April 30th is canceled. All 4-H members taking a horse project need to complete the requirement online. Here is the link for the online course: https://cfaesosu.catalog.instructure.com/courses/equistep-2024.
EquiSTEP must be completed by June 1st.

4-H Member Enrolled in a Horse Project:
All 4-H members taking Horse projects are required to complete EquiSTEP. You can either take it online go to https://cfaesosu.catalog.instructure.com/courses/equistep-2024 to register for the online course or attend the face-to-face training at the Riecker Building in meeting room 325 next to Extension Office on April 30th from 7-8 PM. You are required to register for the face-to-face training by April 23rd by calling the Extension Office at 740-962-4854. EquiSTEP must be completed by June 1st.

- Complete the online self-paced course by enrolling at http://cfaesosu.catalog.instructure.com/courses/equistep-2023 and completing the quiz at the end of the course.
- Attend the face-to-face training on May 1st from 5:30-7 PM at the Extension Office meeting room 155 Main St. McConnelsville Room 325 Riecker Building and completing the online Quiz after the training online or complete it online at home.
NOTE: You need to have an individual email address for each youth completing the course. This is a requirement to take your project and participate PAS shows, state fair and the county fair as a 4-H Equine Exhibitor.
