If you’ve not recently reviewed the list of incredible offerings being auctioned during the Fairfield County 4-H Legacy Dinner next week, you need to come back and take a look. When you visit the Legacy Auction page you’re guaranteed to find something you’ll like, and best of all, 100% of the proceeds from the sales benefit our County’s 4-H Endowment.

In addition to the items that came in early like Columbus Clippers tickets, a processed side of pork, a hand hooked framed wool rug depicting the Round Dairy Barn, and an engraved Mossberg International Silver Reserve over/under shotgun, most recently we’ve added items such as original paintings, a hand crafted wooden bowl, a brand new Stihl string trimmer, and 4 tickets to this December’s Wrangler National Final Rodeo in Las Vegas. Those who simply want to get away will find a two night stay at Brookside Cottage in the Hocking Hills. Also featured are more than a dozen ‘themed’ gift baskets that will cover your needs on everything from camping to movie date night, and from having a tea party to relaxing at the beach!

Best of all, if you’re already committed somewhere else and can’t attend, you can still get your bids in by simply contacting auctioneer Doug Leith or one of the members of the 4-H Endowment Board and asking them to represent you.

The silent auction begins promptly at 6:00 p.m. on June 9th when the doors will be opened into the Doug and Cheryl Majors family farm shop. Dinner and a short program will follow. The evening concludes with the ‘live’ auction. Find all the auction details linked here, and then be certain to bid early, and bid often!
